Customer service is dead! Or is it?
I want to share 2 recent customer service experiences I have had. I want to convey the difference between doing it right, and doing it wrong, and what it means to me, the consumer. The companies in question? Toyota (specifically the service department at Prestige Toyota in New Jersey) and Woot.com.
Has it been almost 20 days?
WTF? Where the hell has the time gone? I feel like it was yesterday that I was getting the site up, and throwing together some posts. Somehow between then and now, the world has experienced the 20th Republican primary debate, Linsanity, a Greek bailout(ish), and the death of someone no one cared about anymore until she died.
Brilliance without Execution is wasted opportunity
So I have an idea. I get these every once in a while; something I think is neat that isn’t being used yet. In years past this has been things as ridiculous as a card that everyone has that contains all of your information (credit card, driver’s license, insurance information, etc). Or maybe it was a company that provided a service that, while not currently being done, really wasn’t sustainable.
And then I get ideas like I had this morning.
M.I.A. flips the bird. Why do we care again?
In what is quickly becoming a sad testament to the prudish nature of Americans, everyone is outraged (and by everyone, I mean the media, and whoever the media interviews that doesn’t get edited out) over M.I.A.’s middle finger during the Super Bowl halftime.
There’s not many reasons why living in NJ is best…
But this is one of them.. Taylor Ham. And yes, that’s an entire roll for 3 of us.. One of whom is 2 and a half.
The blog is back in town
So I decided to stop being lazy, and actually get back into this whole.. blogging.. thing. This will be my personal blog, so expect pictures of babies.. updates about food.. and other nonsense. I will have a gaming blog up as well, so if you want that kind of stuff, you’ll have it (Hint: You’ll find it if you look at the domain name above).
Anyway, working out the kinks of a new theme, so let me know if anything doesn’t work. Otherwise, enjoy the show.
